Jade Harland is an emerging visual artist based in Adelaide, South Australia. Jade completed a Bachelor of Visual Art at the University of South Australia in 2016 and since then has frequently been involved in exhibitions and art prizes across South Australia.
Jade was awarded the 2017 SALA, Glenside Rural and Remote residency. During this time she was able to create artworks and further her study into mental health issues and well-being. Jade commonly explores these topics through her work in order to connect with people who have experienced such issues. Her goal is to create a better understanding and to help break down stigma associated with mental health issues.
Jade is currently concentrating on building her art practice and is available for commission work and commercial mural painting.
